Step 2–  CNC Programming & Sharpening
The next step in the process is to determine the bit angles and point style, and then program the CNC machine. The Darex XPS-16 can sharpen point angles from 90° to 118° and can provide point styles ranging from Standard, Conic, X and R splits.

Once information is programmed into the machine it then measures the drill length, diameter and web thickness. Carbide drill bits can even go through an automatic honing of the cutting edge. All of this restores your bits to near original condition!
